Job Title: Secretary to Managing Director
Location: St. Thomas Mount, Chennai
Experience: 6+ years
Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Secretary to provide comprehensive support to our Managing Director. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and proactive individual with excellent communication skills.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Manage the MD's calendar, schedule meetings, and set up meeting files.
2. Identify participants, set agendas, and arrange facilities as needed for meetings.
3. Maintain the MD's travel log and planner.
4. Take minutes at management meetings and follow up on action items.
5. Perform various administrative tasks, including paperwork and correspondence.
6. Act as the first point of contact for internal and external team members.
7. Liaise with stakeholders, chambers and trade associations.
8. Coordinate with HR, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure compliance.
9. Assist in planning and executing industry events, global trade fairs, and board-level meetings.
Requirements :
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree.
2. 6+ years of relevant experience supporting senior management/corporate experience.
3. Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
4. Fluency in English & Tamil
5. Proficiency in Hindi is preferred
