The Arabic-Speaking Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of all guests, staff, and property within the restaurant and bar. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong situational awareness, and the ability to handle guest interactions with professionalism and respect, reflecting the warm hospitality of a Moroccan/Middle Eastern dining environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Safety & Access Control
- Greet guests professionally and manage the entrance of the restaurant and bar.
- Verify guest age and identification when required by local regulations.
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure a safe and respectful environment at all times.
- Prevent unauthorized entry and manage large crowds during busy hours or events.
Security Monitoring
- Conduct regular patrols inside and around the venue.
- Observe guest interactions and be proactive in preventing conflicts or unsafe situations.
- Report any safety hazards, suspicious activities, or maintenance issues immediately.
- Monitor CCTV (if applicable) and coordinate with management during incidents.
Conflict Prevention & Resolution
- De-escalate tense situations calmly, respectfully, and professionally.
- Assist in handling intoxicated, aggressive, or disruptive guests following company procedures.
- Support management in enforcing venue policies regarding behavior, dress code, smoking, etc.
Emergency Response
- Act quickly and appropriately during emergencies (fire, medical incidents, altercations).
- Guide guests and staff safely during evacuations or emergency procedures.
- Provide first-line support until medical or security authorities arrive.
Communication & Coordination
- Communicate effectively in both Arabic and English with guests, staff, and management.
- Prepare incident reports clearly and accurately when required.
- Coordinate closely with waitstaff, bar staff, and supervisors to maintain smooth operations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in security, preferably in hospitality, restaurant, bar, or nightlife environments.
- Fluent in Arabic; good level of English required.
- Strong situational awareness and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Good physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods.
- Knowledge of basic security procedures and conflict management.
- Familiarity with local security regulations and safety standards.
