Senior Accountant

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance Department. The position is based at our Head Office and will involve coordination with project sites across the UAE. The ideal candidate should have solid accounting experience within the oil and gas or construction sector, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience with ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and process supplier payments, ensure accurate updates in the ERP system, and prepare payment plans.
• Review and coordinate intercompany invoices and reconciliations.
• Support monthly fund planning and cash flow management.
• Handle banking relationships, including facility renewals, updates, and ERP entries.
• Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Prepare data and analysis for Board Reports.
• Review and verify VAT returns in line with UAE regulations.
• Oversee WPS processing and ensure compliance with UAE labor and banking requirements.
• Conduct periodic site visits for coordination and financial review.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CMA qualification preferred).
• Minimum 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in the oil & gas or construction industry.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or US CMA (advantageous).
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of UAE VAT, banking operations, and WPS.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Work Location: Head Office (UAE) with occasional travel to project sites.
