Senior Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage our company’s financial operations, ensure accuracy in accounting records, and support management in financial planning. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in accounting principles, GST, TDS, and overall financial compliance.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
• Finalize accounts monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Monitor general ledger entries and ensure proper accounting standards.

Taxation & Compliance

• Handle GST returns, reconciliations, and compliance.
• Manage TDS calculations, payments, and quarterly filings.
• Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Oversee vendor payments, reconciliation, and ageing reports.
• Track receivables, follow up on outstanding payments, and maintain customer ledgers.

Banking & Payroll

• Manage bank reconciliations, loan accounts, and fund flow.
• Coordinate payroll processing, salary statements, and statutory deductions.

Financial Analysis & Control

• Monitor budgets, expenses, and cost controls.
• Provide insights and MIS reports to management for decision-making.
• Improve accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 4–7 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Tally / ERP software, GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in handling audits.
• Strong excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS).
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
