Job Overview:

A reputed company in Dubai is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support their Finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

Book keeping: Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries posting, ledger reconciliation, and month-end and year-end closing processes.

Reporting: Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements and management reports, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS standards and local UAE regulations. Support with other ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.

Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage AP/AR processes by:

• Monitoring customer accounts for timely collections and follow up on pending dues.

• Generate and analyze AR aging reports and provide updates to the Finance Manager.

• Prepare and process payments to vendors as per payment terms, ensuring timely payments to vendors.

• Reconcile all accounts regularly.

Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flows to ensure sufficient liquidity for project-related expenditures and operational needs.

Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with VAT laws and other UAE tax regulations.

System Implementation: Participate in the implementation of accounting systems, ensuring they are optimized for the company’s needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Commerce Graduate with minimum 4 years of experience in similar role / CA Inter with articleship experience.

• Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
