Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate transaction records.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Process invoices, payments, and vendor management tasks.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
- Prepare tax returns and assist in tax planning.
- Support management with financial data and cost analysis.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Tally, ERP systems, or other accounting software.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- CA Inter / CMA Inter (optional)
- Experience in handling payroll and statutory returns
- Knowledge of advanced Excel functions
