## **Senior Accountant – Job Description**

Location: Irinjalakuda(Edakulam)

**Job Type:** Full-time

**Experience Required:** 3–7 years (Accounting/Finance)

### **About the Role**

We are looking for a **Senior Accountant** who can independently manage day-to-day accounts, financial reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, excellent knowledge of accounting principles, and hands-on experience with GST, TDS, and finalization of accounts.

### **Key Responsibilities**

* Manage and maintain **general ledger**, journal entries, and financial statements.

* Prepare **monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports**.

* Handle **GST filing, TDS filing, and tax compliance**.

* Perform **bank reconciliation**, vendor reconciliation, and account reconciliation.

* Assist in **budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management**.

* Oversee **accounts payable & accounts receivable**.

* Support the **year-end audit** process and coordinate with auditors.

* Ensure compliance with **accounting standards and company policies**.

* Improve financial procedures and support management in decision-making.

### **Requirements**

* Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in **Commerce, Accounting, Finance** or related field.

* **2–5 years** of relevant experience.

* Strong knowledge of **Tally Prime**

* Good understanding of **GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Corporate Accounting**.

* Excellent skills in **MS Excel** (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table preferred).

* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

* Bcom+tally prime

* Experience in managing a small accounts team.
