Senior Accountant

We are seeking an Immediate Joiner Senior Accountant with strong experience in the construction industry and a proven track record of overseeing full accounting operations in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of relevant experience, excellent knowledge of UAE accounting standards, and the ability to manage project-based financials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle full-cycle accounting, including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing
• Manage project costing, WIP, subcontractor payments, and progress billing
• Prepare financial statements, cash flow reports, and project profitability analysis
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and relevant financial regulations
• Coordinate with project teams, procurement, and management for accurate cost tracking
• Support audits and implement accounting process improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; professional certification preferred
• 10+ years of accounting experience in the construction industry (UAE experience required)
• Strong knowledge of project accounting, cost control, and contract billing
• Excellent MS Excel and ERP skills
• Ability to join immediately
