Senior Accountant - US Hours (Night Shift)

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations — from recording transactions to preparing accurate financial reports. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in US accounting standards (US GAAP) and a strong background in bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and tax compliance. Experience with payroll processing will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full cycle of accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Support tax preparation and filing in accordance with US tax laws.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Assist in payroll processing and related accounting tasks (preferred but not mandatory).
• Contribute to process improvements and automation of accounting tasks.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in accounting, with at least 4 years in US accounting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, Xero, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work night shifts to align with US business hours.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with US tax compliance and payroll processing.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and automation tools.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
