Job Summary: The Accounting & Finance Manager will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and managing a team of accounting professionals. He/she should have excellent communication skills, deep knowledge of accounting principles, a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining financial integrity.
Reports to: Relationship Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Financial Management:
- Oversee all aspects of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with regular, clear, and insightful financial information.
- Team Management:
- Lead and supervise a team of accountants and financial professionals.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members.
- Set performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and address any performance issues.
- Financial Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide insights into financial trends, costs, and revenues.
- Recommend actions for improving financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting department.
- Streamline financial processes and workflows to optimize productivity.
- Compliance:
- Ensure that client accounts comply with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities during financial audits.
- Problem-Solving:
- Identify and resolve accounting and financial issues that may arise in client accounts.
- Provide timely solutions to address client concerns or questions.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and client management roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, including accounting software and MS Excel.
