Summary
The Senior Analyst - Financial Compliance position is responsible for supporting SOX compliance by testing internal controls for design, implementation, and effectiveness, and documenting findings through interviews and walkthroughs. It also involves reviewing Risk Control Matrix alignment, executing control testing, and preparing clear reports for management. Additionally, the role maintains SOX documentation, supports annual risk assessments, and ensures controls remain current amid organizational changes.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in SOX compliance activities, including testing of design and implementation (D&I) and test of effectiveness (TOE) for internal controls
  • Conduct interviews with control owners and accurately document SOX-related findings
  • Review Risk Control Matrix (RCM) against current operations to confirm alignment and effectiveness
  • Perform control walkthroughs and support identification of key Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (ICFR) risks
  • Execute control testing procedures and prepare detailed work papers for review by senior team members
  • Summarize testing results and draft clear, concise reports for management review
  • Support annual SOX risk assessment and scoping activities by gathering data and preparing analysis for management and parent company K-SOX team
  • Assist in maintaining SOX documentation, including audit programs and testing templates
  • Monitor organizational and process changes to ensure SOX controls remain current and assist in updating documentation as needed
  • Participate in ad-hoc compliance projects and reporting as assigned
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve compliance issues and ensure timely communication of updates
  • Maintain a strong understanding of internal control requirements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the compliance framework
Compensation Range
$58,000 - $63,000 Per Year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Education & Experience
  • Associate's Degree Minimum Required
  • 3 - 5 Years of Experience in Auditing and/or Compliance Required
  • 4 - 7 Years of Experience in Auditing, Compliance, Accounting, and/or Finance Preferred
