This is a hybrid role where you would be primarily based at one of our offices (Athy, Cavan, Glasgow or Exeter) for 2-3 days per week, with the option of working partially from home for the other 2-3 days following successful completion of a probationary period.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • To oversee performance, maintenance, compliance, financial management and stakeholder reporting — ensuring assets deliver to their full potential across generation, storage, grid services, and revenue streams.

  • To carry out wind turbine, solar farm and battery storage project inspections and produce subsequent technical reports

  • To monitor and co-ordinate the operation of customers’ wind farms to ensure that they are operating safely, effectively and efficiently.

  • To ensure a safe culture for work at windfarms and oversee compliance with safety and quality standards

  • To oversee the introduction of ancillary grid services

Required Attributes:

  • Proven experience in asset management within the energy sector (renewables preferred).

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent understanding of operational safety, maintenance strategies, and performance optimization.

  • Commercial acumen with experience reviewing proposals and contracts.

  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.

  • Strong communicator and influencer across all levels.

  • Results-driven with a focus on safety and sustainability.

  • Ability to lead improvement initiatives and manage change effectively.

  • Good technical knowledge of wind, solar and battery storage technology

Highly Desirable:

  • Ability to travel to remote windfarm sites and climb and inspect wind turbines

  • Previous wind energy experience, particularly with Vestas technology

  • Consulting engineering background

  • Formal engineering and/or health and safety qualification

  • Experience in renewable energy analytics and performance optimisation

Training and support will be available in the role if all of the above criteria are not met.

Competitive salary on offer commensurate with experience.

Start date as soon as possible.
