Role: Senior Brand Designer

Company: Series C startup: cloud & data infrastructure, enterprise software, cloud back-up technology & platform

Salary: $120k - $150k base *pending current leveling & experience*

Location: NYC *hybrid; ~3x a week in-office*


MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of multi-disciplinary design experience (B2B or B2C startup experience)
  • Proven ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling, and visually elevated design
  • Experience designing marketing assets across web, paid & organic social, sales enablement
  • Experience owning and evolving a brand’s visual identity across multiple channels
  • Confidence operating as an IC and sole full-time creative in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment

We're searching for someone who lives and breathes good design – the kind that makes you stop scrolling. If you're ready to bring innovation and impact to a rapidly growing tech startup, we want you on our team.

This is a unique opportunity to shape our visual language. You'll be hands-on, crafting compelling visuals that resonate with our audience and drive business objectives, while also bringing a strong point-of-view and creative thinking to the table.

This is one of the first roles in our expanding marketing team, and you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our strategy and success.


What You'll Do:

  • Own the Creative Vision: Spearhead the design and execution of all creative assets, ensuring brand consistency and a high bar for quality across every deliverable.
  • Digital Marketing: Create engaging creative assets for diverse channels, including LinkedIn organic and paid campaigns, blog posts, branded reports, and other marketing initiatives that capture attention and drive engagement.
  • Website: Design and collaborate on website updates, new landing pages, and other web-based creative.
  • Strategic Creative Partner: Act as a key creative voice, offering strong opinions and innovative solutions to design challenges, while being equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves and executing the work.
  • Brand Guardian: Ensure all creative adheres to brand guidelines, continually evolving and refining our visual identity as we grow.
  • Sales Enablement Champion: Design impactful sales decks, presentations, and collateral that empower our sales team and tell our story effectively.


Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of experience in a design role, with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of work across digital and print.
  • A mid-level to senior designer who has a well-developed aesthetic and creative process, and eager to get hands-on and execute.
  • A strong creative thinker with a proven ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling, and visually stunning designs.
  • Highly proficient in industry-standard design tools as well as AI design tools, including Figma and Midjourney.
  • Experience with basic web design and development concepts is a significant plus.
  • A master of visual storytelling, capable of crafting narratives through design that resonate with various audiences.
  • An excellent communicator and collaborator, able to articulate design decisions and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Deeply passionate about design trends and continuously learning and experimenting with new techniques and tools.
