Senior Business Analyst (Pre-Sales & Solution Collaboration)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team in Lahore for a Full-time, On-site role. This position requires 10 years of professional experience, with deep expertise in pre-sales support, client engagement, and solution collaboration within the technology services sector.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of working alongside Solution Architects to translate ambiguous business needs into structured technical documentation and robust solution blueprints. You will be critical in bridging business objectives with technical execution, ensuring all solutions are feasible, scalable, and fully aligned with client expectations. Preference will be given to candidates familiar with integrating AI-driven tools into business workflows.

Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Sales Support and Solution Design

• Collaboration: Partner with Solution Architects and Sales teams to thoroughly understand client goals, technical requirements, and overall project scope.
• Documentation Support: Support the creation of technical proposals, project estimates, and Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring clarity and alignment with client demands.
• Discovery: Conduct essential discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and requirement-gathering workshops to accurately identify business opportunities and client pain points.
• Solution Blueprinting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design value-driven solutions, roadmaps, and architecture outlines.
• AI Enhancement: Contribute to the creation of proposals and client analysis by utilizing automation or AI-enhanced tools for research and content generation.
• Content Preparation: Assist in preparing detailed RFP/RFI responses, case studies, and pre-sales presentation decks.

Business Analysis and Technical Documentation

• Core Documentation: Develop detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications (FRDs), user stories, and clear workflow diagrams.
• Validation: Validate requirements through continuous stakeholder feedback and ensure technical feasibility is confirmed by Solution Architects.
• Control: Maintain version-controlled documentation and ensure robust traceability across all project phases.
• Process Improvement: Utilize AI-based tools for data analysis, process optimization, and improving the quality and speed of documentation.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

• Liaison: Serve as the primary liaison between clients, the delivery team, and technical teams, ensuring transparent and consistent communication.
• Presentation: Present complex findings, insights, and proposed technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Relationship Building: Build and sustain long-term client relationships through consultative communication, strong business acumen, and reliability.

Experience and Qualifications

• Experience: 10 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in IT services, with significant exposure to pre-sales and Solution Architect collaboration.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Methodology: Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and solution design principles.
• Technical Acumen: Proven experience working with or alongside Solution Architects on technical discovery and pre-sales documentation.
• AI Familiarity: Exposure to or proficiency in AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Notion AI, or similar) for research, analysis, and workflow optimization.
