Senior / Cardiac Technologist

Job Description

The incumbent shall be responsible to:

• Coordinate and participate in a variety of duties involved in the operation and maintenance of cardiovascular equipment to provide detailed analysis of cardiovascular functions in the laboratory
• Perform routine cardiovascular tests, including transthoracic echocardiography, treadmill ECG testing, blood pressure and Holter monitoring
• Assist in performing transesophageal echocardiography
• Competent to perform echocardiogram test and prepare report
• To perform Stress echocardiogram investigations including, treadmill stress echo, Dobutamine stress echo, and transesophageal echocardiography test
• Assist with interventional imaging system, such as IVUS, FFE, IABP and OCT
• Assist interventionists in cardiovascular laboratory and record procedure in cardiac reporting system

Job Requirements

• Degree in Biomedical Science (preferably with specialization in cardiac technology) & minimum 2 years relevant experience
• Diploma in Biomedical Science (preferably with specialization in cardiac technology) and/or relevant experience may be considered for a junior position
