About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Finance Specialist with a strong focus on building and maintaining sales relationships and influencing deal outcomes. The ideal candidate will have experience in the SaaS industry, with a proven ability to manage complex go to market transactions with multiple stakeholders. This role will be instrumental in ensuring that our Commercial Finance function is optimized for efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Director, Commercial Finance, in optimizing deal processes and ensuring increased profitability for new sales agreements for assigned territory.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with sales teams, acting as a trusted advisor and resource for deal strategy and execution. Lead deal structuring, customer level pricing strategies and guiding Commercial Terms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Sales Operations, Renewals, Finance and Legal to ensure seamless deal management and compliance with company policies and programs.
  • Implement and monitor customer level discounts, including approvals, incorporating appropriate checks and balances to drive positive revenue impact.
  • Analyze deal data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, influencing sales strategies and outcomes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for deal management, including developing systems to manage workflows and inspect results.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of deal metrics and KPIs to the Deal Desk Manager and senior management.
  • Utilize deal scoring frameworks to evaluate deal economics and ensure alignment with business objectives.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or other relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models, pricing strategies, and contract negotiation.
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, Tableau)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in SaaS sales operations, with a focus on relationship management and influencing deal outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights to influence sales strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.

The pay range for this position is $71,900 to $120,000, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
