Job Description – Delivery Manager (5–9 Years Experience)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Delivery Manager with 5–9 years of experience in managing and delivering technology projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, stakeholder management, and project delivery skills, with a proven ability to ensure successful outcomes in complex environments. Prior experience working on government projects will be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of multiple projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and budget adherence.
• Define and monitor project scope, objectives, resources, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and business analysts.
• Establish delivery processes, monitor progress, and proactively mitigate risks/issues.
• Collaborate closely with clients, including government or enterprise stakeholders, to ensure satisfaction and alignment with expectations.
• Drive Agile/Scrum or hybrid delivery methodologies for efficient execution.
• Manage escalations, dependencies, and change requests effectively.
• Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and ensure transparency in communication.
• Ensure adherence to compliance, data security, and quality standards (especially in government projects).
• Support pre-sales activities by providing delivery insights, effort estimation, and resource planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Management, or related field.
• 5–7 years of proven experience in project management/delivery management roles.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience in managing software development projects end-to-end.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools like JIRA, MS Project, Trello, or Asana.
• Ability to manage distributed teams and vendor relationships.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

Good to Have

• Prior experience in delivering government or public sector projects.
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or SAFe.
• Understanding of compliance frameworks (ISO, CMMI, GDPR, IT security standards).
• Exposure to cloud, ERP, or large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
