Job Summary:
The Commercial Engineer is responsible for managing the full contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards while optimizing cost, risk, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include pre-contract and post-contract duties, drafting and negotiating contracts, maintaining contractor’s relationships, analyzing financial proposals, monitoring compliance, claims management and variation process.
Key Responsibilities:

Contract Development & Compliance: Draft, review, and finalize contracts in line with company policies and standards.

Claims analysis, procedures, and management.

Entitlements and Variations management.

Ability to review and check IFC packages.

Contractor Management: Maintain relationships with contractors, evaluate performance, and ensure quality service.

Financial Analysis & Negotiation: Analyze financial proposals, prepare cost comparisons, and negotiate favorable terms.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with project teams, clarify obligations, and resolve disputes as needed.

Process Improvement: Propose enhancements to contract management systems, conduct audits for compliance and efficiency.

Reporting & Documentation: Prepare reports, presentations, and archive contracts and financial documents according to company protocols.
Required Qualifications:

Male Candidates.

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (Architectural could be considered).

Holding certificate(s) in Contracts and legal aspects (CLAC / CMAD / FIDIC Modulars / …etc.)

At least 3 years of experience in the Saudi market.

Proficiency in Arabic (Native or Bilingual).

Proficiency in English (Professional).
