JOB PURPOSE:
To perform a range of maintenance activities related to surface preparation and paint all equipment/materials in the plant with high standards of quality and safety.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Completes assigned maintenance painting jobs with required standards.
- Independently carries out minor painting jobs and planned maintenance painting activities as required.
- Carries out effective maintenance tasks on various maintenance equipment as per the operating procedures.
- Operates blasting and painting equipment for the maintenance painting jobs.
- Acts as a team player and makes suggestions to improve shop services for internal customers.
- Follows the safe working practices based on company’s safety rules and regulations to protect personnel, plant, and equipment.
- Maintains good housekeeping in the assigned work area and keeps equipment and tools in clean, tidy, and safe conditions.
- Coaches and guides National Trainees/TPRF personnel doing routine jobs in the shop.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school graduate or vocational graduate in industrial painting
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum years’ experience in Maintenance
- Good basic knowledge in all painting equipment and knowledge
- Must possess a working knowledge of written and spoken English
Skills:
- Good basic knowledge in types of industrial painting works and equipment
- Written and verbal English communication skills
- Know how to read technical specifications for different paints
