Job Description – Senior Data Scientist

Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to drive data-driven decision-making, build advanced models, and translate complex data into meaningful insights. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Python/R, SQL, machine learning, and data visualization tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Build predictive, classification, clustering, and forecasting models using machine learning and statistical techniques.
• Perform deep exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
• Work with SQL databases to extract, prepare, clean, and transform large datasets.
• Develop automated data pipelines and support deployment of ML models into production.
• Create dashboards and visual reports using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Communicate analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to solve key business problems.
• Mentor junior data team members and contribute to best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong programming skills in Python or R for data processing and model building.
• Proficient in SQL and relational database querying.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical concepts.
• Experience with frameworks like Scikit-learn, and familiarity with TensorFlow/PyTorch is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capability, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
• Experience working with large datasets or Big Data platforms (Spark/Hadoop).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and MLOps practices.
• Previous experience in building and deploying end-to-end ML solutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹2,400,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
