Senior Designer

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will lead the development of complex design projects across various disciplines, utilizing advanced CAD and drafting tools. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from civil and mechanical design to construction documentation and 2D animation, contributing to the creation of high-quality, detailed designs that meet client specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization and development of detailed design models using SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and SolidWorks.
• Create precise schematics, technical drawings, and drafting documents for civil, mechanical, and construction projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop innovative design solutions that adhere to project requirements and industry standards.
• Utilize NavisWorks for project visualization, clash detection, and coordination across disciplines.
• Prepare comprehensive 2D animations to illustrate complex design concepts for presentations and client reviews.
• Review and validate design accuracy, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety regulations.
• Mentor junior designers by providing guidance on best practices in CAD drafting, schematics development, and mechanical design.
• Maintain organized documentation of all design files and revisions in accordance with project protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Designer or similar role with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, SketchUp, and NavisWorks.
• Proficiency in mechanical design principles and drafting techniques.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and how to translate conceptual designs into detailed construction documents.
• Skilled in creating schematics, technical drawings, and 2D animations for various engineering disciplines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and presenting complex ideas clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered. Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
