As they continue to drive growth and expansion, they are now seeking a Senior Designer to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of generator set enclosures, ensuring compliance with acoustic, thermal, safety, and structural standards.
• Manage the full product lifecycle: concept design, prototyping, validation, and release to manufacturing.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and vendors to optimize designs for cost, manufacturability, and durability.
• Oversee testing and validation (acoustics, vibration, thermal, IP/weatherproof).
• Utilize CAD/CAE tools for 3D design and validate CFD/FEA analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices.
• Work closely with customers and stakeholders to capture requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and performance leadership to the design team.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product design and manufacturing.
• Strong background in sheet metal design, acoustics, thermal management, and structural analysis.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, NX); PDM experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of fabrication processes, coatings, and corrosion protection standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
