Chief of Staff to Head of Strategy is a high impact role with a future path to business roles. The role offers tremendous exposure to the business, working closely with the leadership team to drive the company's strategic initiatives. It will drive high-impact initiatives across the organization and support cross-functional collaboration across business leaders.

The incumbent will be responsible for maximizing the Executive's effectiveness, driving organizational alignment, managing the operating cadence of the senior leadership team, and leading high-priority, cross-functional strategic initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic Accountability & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Assist in setting organization goals and priorities (OKRs)
  • Track key initiatives and measure progress against strategic goals
  • Leads strategic initiatives across product, marketing, data science, and engineering teams.
  • Ensures alignment with global business goals by leveraging consumer insights, trend analytics, and AI-driven forecasting.
  • Ensure alignment with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) on all key initiatives.

Decision-Making, Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with the SLTs to drive cross functional strategic decisions
  • Influences platform evolution and customer experience through data-centric strategies.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Facilitate high-level meetings, ensuring effective follow-ups
  • Draft reports, presentations, and key communications for leadership
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors and partners

Role Complexity & Technological Integration

  • Navigate complex stakeholder dynamics across business, tech, creative, and commercial units
  • Integrate emerging technologies (AI, ML, AR/VR) to enhance operational efficiency and customer engagement.

Operational Efficiency/Platform Impact

  • Board Preparedness: Spearhead preparations for critical board meetings, including those with Walmart and ( board members for IB brands), ensuring all materials are comprehensive and strategically aligned.
  • Serve as a platform facilitator, developing action plans with teams, and assisting with dissemination of communications
  • Operational Excellence: Manage the CSOs calendar with zero-breakage, prioritize meetings, and oversee time management and issue prioritization to ensure optimal productivity.

Leadership & Culture Development

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Build trust and serve as a strategic partner across various teams. Ensure cross-functional alignment and smooth execution of projects that span multiple departments.
  • Ensure clear objectives and agendas for meetings and evolve based on feedback. e.g. BU reviews, SLT and P0 meetings, data and insights, scorecard, action follow-up
  • Closely partner with leads/ spirit group/ core working teams to create plans, coordinate execution & unblock key initiatives, while aligning strategic direction with the SLT
  • Cross functional alignment on projects that have dependency across teams
  • Serve as liaison between the team and CSO & CEO regarding company issues, project updates, proposals, and planning

Team Motivation: Provide guidance and motivation to teams, focusing them on core issues that are of strategic importance to the CSO and the organization.

Employee Engagement: Strengthen relationships with all employees to boost efficiency and drive a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Skills & Experience

Domain Skills

  • 12 - 14 years of experience as Chief of Staff & Strategy, with a mix of strategic consulting, operations, or leadership roles
  • Proven track record of scaling businesses or driving organizational change in fast-paced environments (e.g. consulting, startups)

Behavioral Skills

  • Strong display of Myntra values and ethos
  • Ability to work in a complex and fast paced E-commerce environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem solving, time management & Prioritization skills with an eye for detail.
