Senior Events Manager - Matterport, Singapore

Overview

The Senior Events Manager will lead the planning, coordination and execution of trade shows, corporate events and regional activations for Matterport across all APJ markets. Based full time at Matterport's Singapore office, the role reports directly to the Director of Marketing and works closely with sales teams in each APJ market and with the CoStar Group centralized Events & Sponsorship team in the U.S. to ensure alignment, consistency and excellence in event execution and brand representation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end to end planning and execution of Matterport trade shows, customer events and sponsored programs across APJ, ensuring alignment with business objectives and global marketing priorities.
  • Partner with local sales and marketing leaders to identify event opportunities that drive pipeline growth, customer engagement and brand awareness.
  • Coordinate with the CoStar Group Events & Sponsorship team in the U.S. to align processes, brand standards and event strategies.
  • Serve as the key liaison between Matterport's global marketing team, APJ sales teams and CoStar Group's events organization.
  • Manage planning and communications for APJ events, including booth design, demos, messaging and lead management.
  • Ensure smooth collaboration with sales and marketing for lead follow up and ROI tracking post events.
  • Source and manage relationships with event organizers, agencies and vendors across Europe.
  • Negotiate contracts and oversee logistics, production and creative requirements to deliver exceptional experiences on time and within budget.
  • Serve as the onsite lead for major APJ trade shows and events, overseeing setup, staffing, execution and problem solving in real time.
  • Manage all event logistics, including registration, shipments, travel coordination, catering and vendor management.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, track all expenses and process payments; monitor ROI and deliver post event reports, insights and optimisation recommendations.
  • Partner with the global creative team to adapt global booth designs and materials for European audiences while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Support localized messaging and collateral needs to resonate across diverse APJ markets.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years managing large scale trade shows or corporate events in B2B technology, SaaS or similar industries.
  • International experience with a track record of managing multi country events across Europe and working with global teams.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and proven ability to manage complex timelines, budgets and multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative communicator skilled at building relationships and aligning teams across functions and regions.
  • Strategic and results oriented, with a clear understanding of how events support lead generation, customer engagement and brand strategy.
  • Creative and adaptive, an excellent problem solver who thrives in dynamic environments and delivers under pressure.
  • Onsite presence: Able to work five days per week in the Singapore office and travel up to 30% across APJ for events.
  • Bachelor's degree level education or equivalent experience.
