Job Title: Senior Facilities Manager / Engineer

Hiring for a leading real estate group

Salary: AED 30,000 – 38,000 per month

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager / Engineer to oversee building operations, maintenance activities, and technical systems across residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in MEP/HVAC systems, proven leadership experience, and the ability to manage vendors and maintenance teams in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Facility Operations & Maintenance

· Manage daily operations of MEP, HVAC, and building systems.

· Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance, safety, and optimal performance.

· Monitor and optimize energy usage through BMS (Building Management Systems).

Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

· Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all critical systems.

· Diagnose and resolve system failures and equipment issues promptly.

· Maintain accurate maintenance logs and compliance documentation.

Projects & Renovations

· Support renovation, upgrade, and retrofit projects from planning to execution.

· Review technical drawings, schematics, and system specifications.

· Coordinate with contractors and consultants to ensure quality and safety standards.

Health, Safety & Compliance

· Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, fire safety regulations, and HSE standards.

· Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and support emergency response planning.

· Provide training on safety procedures and equipment handling when required.

Vendor & Contractor Management

· Supervise outsourced service providers including maintenance, cleaning, pest control, landscaping, and elevators.

· Track contractor performance and ensure KPI and SLA compliance.

· Assist with procurement, vendor evaluations, and quotation reviews.

Reporting & Documentation

· Prepare facility reports, incident logs, and maintenance summaries.

· Maintain technical documents including as-built drawings, manuals, and certifications.

· Recommend improvements to enhance system performance and operational efficiency.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.

· 3–5 years of UAE experience in Facilities Management.

· Minimum 3 years supervising technicians and contractors.

· Strong technical expertise in MEP/HVAC systems and maintenance planning.

· Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
