Senior Finance Manager - Corporate Services
Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly experienced Finance / Accounting Manager to lead the Corporate Services financial function within our Fire & Rescue subsidiary. The Senior Finance Manager - Corporate Services will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and continuous improvement of finance processes to support operational excellence.
This role requires a qualified accountant with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and proven experience supporting finance within an operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Review financial results, analyze variances, and provide clear business insights.
- Investigate differences vs. forecasts, budgets, and prior periods; identify improvement opportunities.
- Maintain complete financial records to support audit readiness.
- Prepare and present monthly financial reports, commentary, and decision-support analysis.
- Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Perform additional financial duties as required.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Promote consistent application of functional policies and SOPs across the department.
- Safeguard organizational assets through strong compliance and governance practices.
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes, systems, and reporting frameworks.
- Implement improvements aligned with international best practices to drive efficiency, cost reduction, and productivity.
- Lead, mentor, and develop junior finance team members.
- Build a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on efficiency, accuracy, and continuous learning.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with Procurement, HR, Operations, and Group Finance to ensure financial alignment with business goals.
- Communicate financial performance, KPIs, and insights to internal and external stakeholders clearly and concisely.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Commerce, or related field.
- Professional qualifications: ACCA, CIMA, and CA or CPA (all required or strongly preferred).
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in finance, including at least 3-4 years in an operational, service, or field-driven environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting standards.
- Advanced Excel skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Proven track record of improving finance processes and reporting capabilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
Preferred
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
