We are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to support statutory and management reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance. Reporting directly to the Financial Reporting & Compliance Section Head, this role plays a pivotal part in ensuring adherence to Saudi regulations, IFRS, and organizational financial policies while providing insightful analysis to guide business decisions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in accounting and compliance within Saudi Arabia, with proven ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate financial information to management. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with 5+ years of progressive experience in KSA to contribute at a senior level without direct team management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports in compliance with IFRS and Saudi accounting regulations.
- Preparation of group reporting packs.
- Ensure audit readiness by maintaining accurate records and documentation; support internal and external audits, coordinating with Big Four firms.
- Maintain fixed asset registers, manage physical count and provide comprehensive financial reporting packages.
- Maintain and reconcile accruals and prepayment schedules, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee reporting of borrowings, including interest expense calculations, covenant compliance monitoring, and disclosure requirements under IFRS.
- Collaborate with team members and other functions to complete financial reporting accurately and on time.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making.
Process Improvement & Systems
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and reporting.
- Utilize ERP systems and Excel for advanced analysis and reporting.
- Recommend improvements to financial systems and internal controls.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Professional qualification (SOCPA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive finance experience in Saudi Arabia, with strong knowledge of local regulatory requirements. Prior Big Four audit or advisory experience preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong accounting foundation with expertise in IFRS and Saudi regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, CANIAS, Oracle, etc.) and advanced Excel.
