We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Web Application Developer with experience in Banking/Finance to join our team onsite for a Custodian System Development Project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Python and Angular development with a strong background in Microsoft SQL Server and API integrations. This role requires close collaboration with the team: BA, PM, QA professionals, and offshore teams to develop, monitor, and optimize the new custody system.

Work Environment

You will be contributing to the development of a full-stack web application in the following environment:

• Backend: Use Python (with Django or Flask) to handle the server-side logic, database interactions, and APIs. Parsing JSON files.
• Frontend: Use Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTTPS REST APIs to build a responsive and interactive user interface.
• External Interface: HTTPS REST APIs
• Database: PostgreSQL (primary), MS SQL Server 2019 (secondary)
• Authentication: Azure AD
• Cloud Environment: AWS or other public cloud

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Business applications by following the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, ensuring best practices are followed from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
• Perform coding, code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing
• Generate relevant technical documentation
• Work closely with the QA team and support UAT processes
• Collaborate with project teams and ensure requirements are accurately implemented
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 7 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development
• Proficient in: Python (Django or Flask) ; Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap; SQL(PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, MySQL)
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, HTTPS REST, and database management
• Experience with:Version control systems (e.g.,Team Foundation Server (TFS))
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
