About the Role

We’re seeking a Senior Freelance Handbag Designer to help concept and design upcoming seasonal collections. You’ll design across multiple categories and work closely with our creative head to bring elevated, imaginative, and commercially exciting products to life.

Responsibilities

• Create seasonal concepts, mood boards, and themes
• Design handbags, SLGs, novelty, and lifestyle accessories (hats, belts, cold weather accessories)
• Produce sketches + detailed spec packs
• Develop custom hardware, trims, charms, and embellishments
• Collaborate with overseas factories on sampling and construction
• Support licensed collections, ensuring brand elevation
• Review samples and provide clear revision notes

Qualifications

• 7+ years of accessories design experience (handbags required)
• Strong Illustrator/Photoshop skills
• Strong graphic design skills for custom embroidery and prints
• Strong experience in PU and Novelty Materials
• Experience with embellishment, applique, quilting, and custom hardware
• Strong eye for color, femininity, detail, and storytelling
• Experience with licensed properties a plus
