ROLE SUMMARY: The Senior Housekeeping Manager leads daily operations for guestroom and public-area housekeeping, ensuring consistently high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and departmental performance. This role drives team leadership, training, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence in alignment with Hotel Drover’s brand, values, and Autograph Collection service expectations. The position requires strong organizational skills, a proactive leadership style, and the ability to deliver seamless execution in a fast-paced luxury environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee day-to-day housekeeping operations for guestrooms, public areas, laundry, and evening teams to ensure consistent quality and brand standards.

Lead, coach, and develop housekeeping staff, driving accountability, performance, and a strong service-oriented culture.

Maintain impeccable cleanliness, presentation, and safety standards through regular inspections and continuous quality improvement.

Ensure timely response to guest needs, service recovery situations, and operational requests to support overall guest satisfaction.

Monitor departmental productivity, labor management, and supply usage while adhering to budget guidelines.

Partner with other hotel departments—especially Engineering, Front Office, and Events—to support operational needs and ensure seamless service execution.

Ensure accurate room status reporting and effective use of hotel systems such as Opera, HotSOS, and inventory tools.

Support deep-clean cycles, maintenance programs, and special projects to protect the condition of hotel assets.

Uphold regulatory compliance, safety standards, and hotel policies across all housekeeping functions.

Perform additional tasks necessary to support departmental success, including hands-on operational assistance when needed.

ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move for extended periods.

Must regularly lift and/or move 10–25 lbs; frequently up to 50 lbs.

Ability to work in hot, cold, indoor, outdoor, and high-activity environments.
- Supervises Housekeeping Attendants, Public Area Attendants, Minibar Attendants, Supervisors, Coordinators, and Housepersons.
- Responsible for training, task assignment, scheduling, coaching, and enforcing cleanliness and safety standards.

Previous hotel housekeeping leadership experience required.

Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively with guests, colleagues, and leadership.

Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative working relationships.

Flexible schedule; must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Working knowledge of PMS and facilities request systems (Opera, HotSOS, POS tools, inventory/reporting).
- 1-4 years of progressive housekeeping leadership in a luxury hotel environment.
- Experience managing both guestroom and public-area operations.
- Strong computer proficiency and familiarity with ordering and inventory systems.
- Detail oriented with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly.
