Senior Key Account Manager - DSV Global Transport and Logistics
Senior Key Account Manager role focusing on key accounts in the Aerospace and Airline industry, responsible for growing relationships, cross selling, and ensuring operational and financial performance across the UAE and region.
Responsibilities
- Managing the allocated accounts throughout the tenure of the relationship and promoting partnership between key customers and DSV.
- Growing and expanding the business with key accounts through cross selling, volume growth and regional expansion.
- Fulfilling all key account requirements and expectations in UAE and regionally whenever needed.
- Resolving all operational and financial issues pertaining to assigned accounts.
- Working closely with Operations Departments and regional DSV offices to harmonize services and agreements offered to key accounts.
- Analyzing problems or issues hindering growth, finding solutions, and taking specific measures to overcome them.
- Controlling operational costs and financial exposure of assigned key accounts while simultaneously meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
- Reporting to sales management on key account issues, revenue growth plans, action plans to resolve outstanding issues, etc.
- Performing any other related duties or projects assigned by Manager from time to time to meet business exigencies.
- Having a commercial element of a Business Development Manager role with a 25-35% time allocation.
- Identifying and onboarding new customers to the company.
Qualifications & Characteristics
Education - Bachelors/Master's degree in Sales and Marketing.
Work Experience - 5-8 years of experience in the Aerospace or Airline Industry, with at least 2 years of proven experience managing large key accounts.
