Senior Legal Counsel – Global Litigation & Product Claims (5–7 Years’ Experience)

Houston, TX | Hybrid (M/T/Th in office, W/F remote)

A fast-growing global company is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to lead a wide range of litigation and product-related matters across its U.S. and international business units. This is an excellent fit for a 5–7 year attorney with strong product liability defense experience who’s ready to step into a high-impact, highly visible role.

In this position, you will:

• Oversee and manage a portfolio of product injury claims and litigation matters across multiple brands
• Handle regulatory, compliance, and product-related issues, including investigations and recall support
• Lead claims strategy, manage reserves, and prepare monthly reporting for senior leadership
• Manage outside counsel, experts, and a small in-house claims team
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including executives, quality, operations, and customer support
• Review settlements, agreements, and other legal documentation across the organization
• Contribute to special projects, process improvements, and internal training initiatives

• Has 5–7 years of product liability defense litigation experience
• Is comfortable running point on complex matters independently
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Has strong communication skills, practical judgment, and a “no job too big or too small” mentality
• Enjoys working with cross-functional partners and building trust across teams
• Is detail-oriented, organized, and able to juggle shifting priorities
• Is willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed
