About the Role:

Our client, a rapidly growing and highly respected law firm in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, is looking for a Senior Litigation Attorney with at least 6 years of experience in personal injury litigation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, team-oriented firm known for its cutting-edge legal strategies and a strong commitment to both justice and community service.

As a Senior Associate, you will be managing complex personal injury cases from start to finish, collaborating closely with a team of skilled attorneys, paralegals, and case managers. This role is perfect for a highly motivated litigator with a passion for advocating on behalf of injured individuals, mentoring junior attorneys, and contributing to the firm's continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of personal injury litigation, from case initiation to trial or settlement.
  • Handle discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, and court appearances.
  • Draft and argue complex motions, pleadings, and briefs.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, experts, and opposing counsel to ensure smooth case progression.
  • Work closely with senior attorneys and support staff to strategize and manage case workflows.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and legal assistants.
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail and manage multiple cases efficiently within deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Active membership in the California State Bar, in good standing.
  • 6+ years of litigation experience, particularly in personal injury law.
  • Extensive experience with discovery, depositions, motion practice, and litigation strategy.
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage a busy caseload in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

  • Trial experience or participation as first-chair.
  • Experience with catastrophic injury, wrongful death, or high-value personal injury cases.
  • Leadership or mentoring experience in managing junior attorneys.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $205,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
