About the Role:

As a Senior Maintenance Planner at JSX in Dallas, TX, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance for the assigned aircraft fleet, including checks, heavy maintenance, and engine or landing gear changes. In this role, you’ll serve as the critical link between the maintenance team, asset management, and materials planning—ensuring smooth coordination, operational efficiency, and effective resource allocation.

A Day in the Life:

You'll play a key role in keeping our fleet running safely and efficiently by coordinating complex maintenance activities behind the scenes.

  • Develop and execute maintenance plans for scheduled work, including A-checks, heavy maintenance, engine and landing gear changes, and other critical repairs.
  • Audit major job planning to ensure all parts, materials, and resources are properly ordered and scheduled.

What Makes a Successful Senior Maintenance Planner?

We’re looking for someone who is:

Required Experience:

  • 4–5 years of experience handling maintenance paperwork for a Part 121 or 135 operator or repair station.

Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Business, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Materials Management, or related field
  • Mechanic certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings

Skill, Licenses, & Certifications:

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to convey information clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new situations, shifting priorities, and changes in the work environment.
  • Ability to collaborate successfully with others to achieve shared goals and contribute to team success.

Pay & Perks:

Compensation is $70,000 - $80,000 /annually. This was established after performing market research and is aligned with our approach to compensation.
