The Senior Manager, HR Business Partner will act as a strategic advisor to the Executive Director and other leaders at the Tampa Center. The role-holder will be responsible for driving people strategies, cultivating a high-performance culture, and ensuring compliance with employment laws while delivering exceptional employee experience.

The individual will oversee the full spectrum of HR practices, including strategy, talent acquisition, development, operations, employee relations, and engagement. They will ensure alignment of people initiatives with business objectives and optimize organizational performance.

Main responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and other leaders to develop and execute HR strategies that support the center's objectives
  • Leverage HR metrics and analytics to guide decision-making and evaluate the effectiveness of programs
  • Lead talent development initiatives that strengthen organizational capability and foster growth
  • Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent policy application
  • Support organizational change transformation through clear communication strategies and employee engagement plans
  • Partner with leaders to implement performance management processes that drive accountability and results
  • Oversee recruitment and mobility strategies aligned with global and local mandates
  • Drive programs supporting the Firm’s strategic goals, including talent planning, management, culture, engagement, and organizational design
  • Guide and align employee engagement efforts with global and local priorities
  • Participate in strategy planning sessions, offering recommendations on people-related strategies
  • Work with Senior Leadership, People COEs, and HR Directors across centers to ensure consistency and alignment of HR programs
  • Collaborate with other centers' HR Directors to ensure consistency and alignment, where appropriate, on HR programs in support of the Firm's overall strategy
  • Lead and implement initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in human resources, psychology, business, or any other related field
  • Progressive HR experience, including prior experience in a strategic HR role
  • Strong people management experience
  • Strong business acumen and able to influence at all levels
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of:
    • Relevant labor laws and practices
    • Talent Management & Org Development
    • Compensation and Benefits
    • Training and Development
    • Change Management
    • HR Tools and systems
  • Highly proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in HRIS, preferably SuccessFactors, and data analytics tools
  • Can demonstrate skill for drawing actionable insights from raw information and data; capable of performing standard analysis on existing people management policies and programs, and drawing actionable solutions, identifying areas of improvement, and drawing detailed recommendations from those assessments, which will lead to an overall increased performance within the business
  • Strong attention to detail and able to stay calm under pressure and in their team
  • Able to form strong connections with others, earn trust, and influence at the highest level of management
  • Facilitative and service-oriented approach
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Able to exercise discretion when dealing with confidential information,
