Our client, a major organization with diversified operations in sustainability, environment, and renewable energy, is seeking a Senior Manager - Investments and Mergers & Acquisition / Business Development to lead its strategic investment initiatives. The role will drive acquisitions, partnerships, and divestments, ensuring alignment with long term growth and value creation objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Define and execute investment and M&A strategies across multiple business verticals.
• Identify, assess, and lead acquisition, partnership, and divestment opportunities.
• Conduct financial modeling, due diligence, and valuation analyses.
• Lead transaction negotiations and coordinate with legal, tax, and advisory teams.
• Develop business cases and present investment recommendations to senior leadership.
• Manage a pipeline of strategic investment opportunities.
• Monitor post deal performance and ensure realization of projected synergies.
• Stay updated on market trends, sector developments, and competitor activities.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field. MBA or CFA preferred.
• Must have 12-18+ years of experience in investment management, corporate finance, and M&A.
• Demonstrated track record in leading complex transactions in group or conglomerate settings.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and negotiation skills.
• Exposure to sustainability, infrastructure, or energy sectors in the GCC region preferred.
• Excellent presentation and stakeholder management capabilities.
