Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Design Team. This role involves delivering mechanical design solutions, technical analysis, and engineering support for complex building and data center projects. The position requires leading and coordinating all mechanical design activities while ensuring technical accuracy, cost efficiency, and adherence to project schedules.

Specific Responsibilities / Functions:

• Prepare and review mechanical designs in accordance with local and international standards for large-scale and specialized projects, including data centers, commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, and healthcare facilities.

• Lead mechanical design activities for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, LPG, and firefighting systems.

• Analyze complex design challenges and propose effective, practical solutions.

• Manage and coordinate the work of design engineers, BIM modelers, and other support personnel.

• Conduct independent design checks and design reviews to ensure quality and compliance.

• Support procurement activities through technical evaluations, vendor reviews, and equipment selection.

• Promote value engineering and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented.

• Represent the company in meetings with clients, consultants, architects, and contractors.

• Liaise with relevant authorities to obtain design approvals.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and promptly report any information security incidents as required.

Qualifications / Experience / Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum of 8 years’ design experience, including data center projects and large-scale building developments.

• Strong technical background in HVAC, plumbing, drainage, LPG, and firefighting systems.

•Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and relevant mechanical design and simulation software such as IESVE or HAP, along with standard MS Office applications.
