What You'll Be Doing
- Turning design briefs into fully detailed, production-ready mechanical designs using SolidWorks.
- Playing a key role in project delivery - from concept through to commissioning.
- Providing guidance to design and graduate engineers (if you're keen to mentor).
- Collaborating with internal teams and contractors to bring designs to life.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
- 10+ years' experience in mechanical design for complex automated machinery for production lines.
- Strong design skills in SolidWorks and a practical understanding of how things get built.
- Strong exposure to automation, machinery, and system integration - ideally you have worked for an OEM.
- Confidence to make sound technical decisions and explain them well.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a healthy dose of curiosity.
- New Zealand working rights, and flexibility for occasional travel.
