Why You'll Love It Here
  • Work on innovative automation projects that are anything but routine.
  • Be part of a team that values both technical excellence and good humour.
  • Enjoy a well-established business with global reach and a strong future focus.
  • Among other things, enjoy competitive remuneration package, paid overtime, paid life insurance and subsidised medical insurance, flexible working hours, additional leave, matched 4% kiwisaver, discounted products, and onsite parking.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Turning design briefs into fully detailed, production-ready mechanical designs using SolidWorks.
  • Playing a key role in project delivery - from concept through to commissioning.
  • Providing guidance to design and graduate engineers (if you're keen to mentor).

What We're Looking For
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
  • 10+ years' experience in mechanical design for complex automated machinery for production lines.
  • Strong design skills in SolidWorks and a practical understanding of how things get built.
  • Strong exposure to automation, machinery, and system integration - ideally you have worked for an OEM.
  • Confidence to make sound technical decisions and explain them well.
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a healthy dose of curiosity.
  • New Zealand working rights, and flexibility for occasional travel.
