JOB SUMMARY

The overall purpose of this position is to drive the development and maintain good health of IEEE's Financial Applications. The incumbent will be responsible for developing integrations, reports, and extensions for Oracle Cloud ERP.
The individual must have at least 10 years of hands-on experience in the domain, must possess a strong technical proficiency with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and a solid understanding of core ERP and EPM modules. Experience with related applications such as Concur, Coupa Treasury, Oracle APEX, and Visual Builder is highly desirable.

This position reports to Senior Manager, GIEEE IT and the role functions as an individual contributor.

Key Responsibilities

Specific duties include but not limited to:


Lead the design, development, and implementation of integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).


Develop and maintain custom extensions for Oracle Cloud ERP using Oracle APEX and Visual Builder.


Build, optimize, and support integrations across Oracle ERP (GL, AP, AR, FA, Procurement, Projects, Cash Management, etc.) and EPM (Planning, EDM, etc.) applications.


Design and support integrations for Concur, Coupa Treasury and NGBC.


Develop reports and analytics using BI Publisher, OTBI, and Oracle Financial Analytics.


Build and maintain SOAP and REST API integrations for Oracle and third-party systems.


Implement FBDI-based solutions for data imports and bulk data updates.


Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.


Provide technical leadership.


Ensure adherence to best practices in code quality, documentation, and system performance.


Provide production support. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.


Review and test quarterly ERP updates. Conduct POCs of new features introduced in quarterly updates as required.

Skills and Requirements (Custom)

Solid understanding of Financials Domain and Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)

Strong desire to work with both technical and non-technical audiences

Hands on experience building and supporting financial applications based on Oracle

Advanced proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL

Proven experience with FBDI, SOAP, and REST API integrations

Development experience in at least two core modules: GL, AP, AR, Procurement, or Projects

Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP architecture and business processes

Hands-on experience with BI Publisher, OTBI, and Oracle Financial Analytics (FDI)

Working experience in ticketing systems like Jira – to manage the development and support of platform needs

Strong Analytics and Problem Solving skills

Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly

Ability to suggest product/process improvements or preventive measures based on historical/analytical data

Excellent Communication, Interpersonal and Presentation skills

Experience managing and interacting with all levels within an organization and overcoming challenges

Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical initiatives and mentor others

Ability to pick up, understand, and communicate complex concepts
