Senior Pega Developer

Design, develop, and implement Pega applications in alignment with banking business requirements.

Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers.

Ensure adherence to Pega best practices, guardrails, and coding standards.

Support solution design sessions, architectural reviews, and code reviews.

Work closely with stakeholders within the Tier 1 Australian Bank to understand and translate requirements into Pega solutions.

Assist in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production support.

5+ years of Pega development experience, with at least 2+ years as CSSA.

Pega CSSA Certification (Certified Senior System Architect).

Proven experience working on large-scale enterprise programs, ideally within a Tier 1 banking environment.

Strong understanding of banking operations and financial workflow automation.

2+ years of experience as a Certified Senior System Architect, creating complex designs, reusable functions, user interfaces, reporting, and integration solutions for multi-process Pega applications.

Strong design skills with deep knowledge of Pega application design concepts, case design principles, and development best practices.

Track record of successful Pega application implementations that meet user needs.

Strong understanding of system architecture and administration concepts.

Proficient in REST/SOAP APIs, database integration, and authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML).

Experienced in Agile/Scrum methodologies with excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.

End-to-end lifecycle expertise with a focus on delivering agile, sustainable solutions.

Solid understanding of SDLC and DevOps practices.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Experience migrating Pega applications from on-premises to cloud (Pega Cloud or public cloud).

Knowledge of the latest Pega versions and capabilities.

Experience with Pega Blueprint for design and implementation planning.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) with Pega deployments.

Experience in leading or mentoring offshore teams.
