Description

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with strong experience in managing high-voltage substation projects, including power transformers, SLA/service contracts, and commissioning activities. This role involves planning, organizing, and controlling resources and timelines to ensure successful project execution in compliance with internal standards and customer expectations.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Project Planning & Execution: Define scope, schedule, and financials with project stakeholders. Monitor progress, resources, and costs. Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards. Close projects formally and capture lessons learned.

  • Contract & Procurement: Manage contracts and claims. Support procurement of materials and services. Assist in supplier negotiations and project changes.

  • Technical Coordination: Collaborate with engineering and commissioning teams for high/medium voltage installations. Support planning and execution of site activities.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the main contact for customers. Build strong relationships and manage escalations effectively.

  • Health, Safety & Environment: Ensure all activities comply with HSE policies and local regulations.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track project targets and report results to management.

  • General Duties: Uphold company standards, confidentiality, and continuous improvement through training and compliance with internal and external regulations.

Your background

  • Bachelors’ degree in Electrical or Power Engineering.

  • minimum 7 years in project management within power grids, substations, or transformer projects.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in teams.

  • Commercial awareness and international project exposure.

  • Familiarity with SAP (MM, SD, Project modules) is an advantage.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • PMP certification preferred.

  • Knowledge of process workflows and documentation standards.
