Job Description:

VST Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Python Developer to join our innovative team. As a Senior Python Developer, you will be responsible for leading the development of complex software applications, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to the design and architecture of our systems. You will work closely with our team to identify and prioritise project requirements, develop high-quality software solutions, and ensure the timely delivery of projects.

Responsibilities:

Design and Development:

- Lead the development of complex software applications using Python and related technologies.

- Design and implement scalable, efficient, and reliable software solutions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.

Leadership and Mentoring:

- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices and coding standards.

- Lead code reviews and ensure high-quality code is delivered.

- Assist in the training and development of junior team members.

System Architecture:

- Contribute to the design and architecture of our systems.

- Ensure software solutions are aligned with industry standards and best practices.

Testing and Deployment:

- Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure high-quality software.

- Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment of software solutions.

Communication and Collaboration:

- Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

- Collaborate with project managers to ensure the timely delivery of projects.

Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field

- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Python development, with a focus on complex software applications

- Skills:

- Proficient in Python 3.x and related technologies (e.g., Django, Flask, NumPy, pandas)

- Experience with MongoDB and database design and development (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)

- Proficiency in front-end technologies, specifically Vue.js

- Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles

- Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)

- Knowledge of software development life cycles (e.g., Agile, Scrum)

- Strong communication and leadership skills

Nice to Have:

- Certified Python Developer or equivalent

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
