Job Summary


We are looking for a retail Sales Executive with background in Interior Design for a luxury and premium furniture showroom in Muscat, Oman. The successful candidate should be able to enhance customer satisfaction and meet sales goals. The candidate for this position shall excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person shall use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.



Qualification

  • Higher Diploma degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Interior Design / Architecture or equivalent. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business, marketing, and administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
  • Strong communication and behavioral skills, flexibility, and an outspoken approach.
  • Preferred skills in Canvas and indesign

Role and Responsibilities:

-Support the customers in making the correct choice and build loyalty by providing a personalized and tailored sales experience to each individual prospective customer.

-Maintain professionalism to customers' enquiries about products, prices, availability, and other information related to the items.

-Meet and exceed sales targets

-Successfully create business from new and existing customer accounts

-Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives

-Build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers

-Performing the purchasing process of the items from selecting the furniture, coordinating with the designers, suppliers and the management team.

-Monitor customer trends and provide recommendations to management.

-Prepare quotations, invoices, purchase orders along with terms and condition documents and receipt.

-Promote showroom products outdoor at potential customers locations.

-Engage with suppliers to gain brand knowledge, product specifications and communicate with them on a regular basis regarding the sales, new products, price list, discounts, marketing materials, purchase order, delivery notes, invoices, payments etc.

-Work with the design and installation site team to ensure the client’s requirements are met.

-Coordinating with the marketing and promotion agency and software company for social media, digital marketing, website updates, branding, ERP system etc.

-Maintain knowledge of sales, promotions, products, delivery and store policies.

-Monitor and report the inventory on a regular basis.

-Maintain showroom display at best shape.

-Report daily activities to the Management team.

-Coordinating with the logistics and inspection companies for successful and accurate delivery.

-Supervise the furniture installation and assembly party.

-Continuously researching and establishing a relationship with potential suppliers.

-Travel to meet suppliers and attend furniture fairs.

-Host visiting suppliers or customer from arrival till departure including arranging accommodation, hospitality, meetings, business lunch and dinner, and local transportation.

Requirements

-Post Graduate Degree (desirable)

-Sales & interior design experienced in premium/luxury sector for at least 5 years.

-Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems

-Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota

-Well versed with the suppliers agreements terms & conditions.

-Basic knowledge of accounting and finance principles for handling liabilities, receivables, billing, payments and preparing of reports.

-Knowledge of understanding technical drawings, supplier technical catalogue and supplier price book and software.

-Experience with Microsoft Office suite, such as: Outlook, Word, excel, PowerPoint.

-Knowledgeable about premium & luxury retail industry (really well).

-Must be good in closing assigned actions satisfactorily.

-Flexible to work overtime and during holidays if needed on compensation basis.

-English speaking proficiency.

-Strong written and verbal communication skills and behavioral skills, flexibility & outspoken approach.
