Job Description

Motivate Media Group, the region's leading multi platform content producer, is expanding its Abu Dhabi team and looking for a Senior Sales Manager to drive commercial growth for What's On Abu Dhabi, the UAE's most trusted lifestyle and entertainment brand.

We are looking for an ambitious, proactive, and relationship driven professional who can identify, develop, and close commercial opportunities across print, digital, social, and event platforms. If you have a strategic mindset, strong client networks, and a passion for media and lifestyle content this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead advertising and sponsorship sales across What's On Abu Dhabi's multi platform portfolio.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Build and manage relationships with key clients, agencies, and partners.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across lifestyle, hospitality, entertainment, and tourism sectors.
  • Create tailored media and content solutions that meet client marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with editorial, marketing, and events teams to deliver integrated brand campaigns.
  • Track performance, manage renewals, and ensure client satisfaction for long term partnerships.

Prerequisites
  • 5+ years of proven success in media sales, advertising, or business development, ideally within lifestyle, entertainment, or hospitality sectors.
  • Strong negotiation, closing, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent client servicing and relationship management abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing sales strategies and meeting revenue goals.
  • Deep understanding of the UAE market and advertising ecosystem.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to spot and act on new opportunities.
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Valid UAE driving license required.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Over 3 years of experience in social media sales. Proficiency in using social media platforms for business purposes. Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
