Senior Sales Manager - What's On, Abu Dhabi
Motivate Media Group, the region's leading multi-platform content producer, is expanding its Abu Dhabi team and looking for a Senior Sales Manager to drive commercial growth for What's On Abu Dhabi, the UAE's most trusted lifestyle and entertainment brand.
We are looking for an ambitious, proactive, and relationship-driven professional who can identify, develop, and close commercial opportunities across print, digital, social, and event platforms. If you have a strategic mindset, strong client networks, and a passion for media and lifestyle content, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead advertising and sponsorship sales across What's On Abu Dhabi's multi-platform portfolio.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Build and manage relationships with key clients, agencies, and partners.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across lifestyle, hospitality, entertainment, and tourism sectors.
- Create tailored media and content solutions that meet client marketing objectives.
- Collaborate closely with editorial, marketing, and events teams to deliver integrated brand campaigns.
- Track performance, manage renewals, and ensure client satisfaction for long-term partnerships.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven success in media sales, advertising, or business development, ideally within lifestyle, entertainment, or hospitality sectors.
- Strong negotiation, closing, and presentation skills.
- Excellent client servicing and relationship management abilities.
- Demonstrated experience in developing sales strategies and meeting revenue goals.
- Deep understanding of the UAE market and advertising ecosystem.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to spot and act on new opportunities.
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
- Valid UAE driving license required.
