To implement commercial and sales strategies, policies, and processes to exceed sales targets in the assigned accounts and target markets within the UAE, GCC, and internationally. The role involves generating and qualifying leads, managing customer relationships, logging details in Salesforce, facilitating offers, and securing contracts.
Key Accountabilities
1. Policies, Processes, and Procedures
Contribute to the development of commercial, sales, and ordering policies, business processes, and operating procedures.
Ensure effective intra-team collaboration for identifying, closing, and executing projects across various regions.
Maintain due diligence by ensuring accurate information on customers, projects, regions, and pricing is recorded in Client systems.
2. Budgets
Support the implementation of regional budgets and action plans.
Assist in determining inventory levels and product mix required to support forecasted sales within assigned customer segments and regions.
3. Risk Management
Support the implementation of Client’s risk management system.
Identify and assess potential sales-related risks and recommend mitigation measures.
4. Continuous Improvement
Participate in initiatives for innovation and continuous improvement to enhance productivity and sales effectiveness.
5. Reports
Provide accurate and timely sales performance reports for assigned accounts and regions.
6. Business Development
Identify new business opportunities from small and medium customers (Stone & Silver Category).
Generate leads and identify customer and project opportunities for Client products and services.
Qualify prospects and determine fit for Client’s offerings.
Develop and nurture relationships with potential customers.
Negotiate and close deals to achieve assigned sales targets.
Work with MEP consultants to qualify Client products.
7. Execution of Sales Contracts
Coordinate with the Back Office to prepare and finalize sales contracts for customer sign-off.
Support the Order Execution and Credit Control teams to ensure timely payments and debt recovery as per contract terms.
8. Business Relationships
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance satisfaction and long-term partnerships with Client.
9. Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Utilize Salesforce CRM tools daily to manage accounts and build sustainable relationships within customer and internal organizations.
Ensure effective use of digital tools for regional sales management.
Maintain accurate and updated data in CRM, ERP, and other core systems.
