We are seeking a creative, forward-thinking, and organized Social Media Specialist. In this role, you will manage and engage with targeted online communities to build brand awareness, drive engagement, and support customer care. You will be responsible for creating consistent, meaningful content across platforms and responding promptly and professionally to customer feedback, queries, and concerns.
Key Responsibilities

Build and execute social media strategies through research, bench marking, messaging, and audience identification.

Write, develop, and plan content calendars for social media, including posts, stories, reels, and campaigns.

Generate, edit, publish, and share content daily (original text, images, videos, basic HTML where required).

Create and maintain company and client social media pages and profiles across relevant platforms.

Build meaningful connections and encourage community engagement through comments, DMs, and discussions.

Monitor and moderate user-generated content in line with brand and community guidelines.

Assist with crisis management, handling negative reviews, feedback, or online issues with sensitivity and professionalism.

Create and implement social media marketing plans and editorial calendars aligned with campaign goals.

Track and analyze performance metrics (reach, engagement, traffic, demographics, conversions) and use insights to improve future campaigns.

Collaborate with internal teams (Content, Design, Performance Marketing, Client Servicing) to manage brand reputation, coordinate promotions, and maximize reach.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field from a recognised institution.
Experience: 5 -10 years of experience in digital marketing and social media (agency or fast-paced environment preferred).
Skills & Competencies

Hands-on experience managing brand pages and campaigns across multiple social platforms.

Strong familiarity with the business use of social media platforms – Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, etc.

Basic understanding of project management workflows and web/digital design best practices.

Good grasp of social media metrics and analytics (reach, engagement, CTR, conversions, etc.) and ability to use insights to improve campaign performance.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style as per brand guidelines.

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
