Senior Software Engineer (Django & Python Specialist)

We’re Hiring: Senior Full Stack Developer (AI-Driven Systems)

The University of South Asia is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Full Stack Developer to lead and deliver innovative software solutions that drive digital transformation across our institution.

This role is ideal for a seasoned Django & Python expert who can architect, build, and optimize enterprise-level systems while leading development projects with ownership, creativity, and technical vision.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of robust backend systems using Django and Python

- Architect scalable, secure, and modular software solutions aligned with institutional and project goals

- Develop responsive, dynamic, and high-performance front-end interfaces using React.js / Next.js

- Integrate AI and LLM technologies (OpenAI, LangChain, TensorFlow, etc.) to deliver intelligent, automated applications

- Manage and optimize databases and RESTful APIs, ensuring reliability, speed, and scalability

- Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud deployments (AWS/GCP)

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams — designers, product managers, and stakeholders — to deliver impactful digital products

- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical leadership, code reviews, and best practices

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline

- 5+ years of professional experience in backend or full-stack software development

- Expert-level proficiency in Django, Django REST Framework, and Python

- Strong command of React.js / Next.js, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and RESTful API architecture

- Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools (OpenAI, LangChain, TensorFlow, PyTorch)

- Proven ability to lead development teams and manage complex software projects from concept to deployment

-Proficiency in microservices, containerization, and cloud deployment (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or GCP)

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills with a passion for innovation
