This job contributes to Starbucks success by joining a small team that will build a new multi-year enterprise supply chain traceability operating model and put into place key strategies, processes and systems to meet compliance regulations, proactively manage risk and realize additional value in the global supply chain.
As a Sr Sourcing Specialist - Traceability, you will…
We’d love to hear from people with:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering or other related field preferred.
1-2+ years of experience in procurement, analytics, finance, planning, engineering, supply chain or other relevant experience preferred.
Sourcing Foundation: Working knowledge of procurement processes such as RFxs, market analysis, ‘should-cost’ models, and standard legal protections (i.e. confidentiality agreements).
Problem Solving & Business Acumen: Thinks through problems constructively and takes action or is cognizant to elevate for assistance when needed. Strong acumen for coping with different business situations in a professional manner.
Teamwork: Effectively influences across peer groups on projects and demonstrates leadership. o Project Management: Develops competency in project management tools and techniques. Ability to prioritize.
Communications: Ability to prepare clear and concise verbal, written, and visual presentations and ability to clearly communicate written and verbally to peer cross-functional stakeholders to ensure projects or key objectives remain on-track. Proactive communication to cross-functional team.
Emotional Intelligence & Influence: Ability to adapt in an ambiguous environment and be resilient to change. Demonstrate effective influencing skills via supporting initiatives, acknowledge opposing points of view, focus on effectiveness, demonstrate willingness to learn, etc.
Intellectual Curiosity: Seeks to build upon the knowledge required for the position by leveraging external resources, leveraging knowledge of sourcing SMEs.
Other: Intermediate to Master in MS Office Suite, (including Excel pivot tables, managing complex formulas + data); also knowledgeable in BI Apps, Oracle ERS, SAP Ariba, Power BI, Tableau, or other like systems

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
