Senior Structural Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

ROLE:

As a Senior Design Engineer , you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and expanding the company's market presence in the field of plant engineering. You will be responsible for designing industrial structures (pipe racks, Technological Structures, Equipment Foundation, Industrial Sheets, Dynamic Foundations, BOP(Balance of Plant)) using Indian Euro and American Codes.

Should have good knowledge in Civil and structural analysis and design calculation related activities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Working on Analysis & Design of RCC & Steel structures using STAAD.Pro
• Analysing & designing sub-structures/foundations.
• Involvement in detailed engineering.
• Performing design calculations as per codes & standards.
• Preparing and checking calculation report.
• Capable of handling design activities independently.
• Checking 3D model GA Drawings & detailed drawings.
• Preparing Inputs for Designers/Draftsman.
• Incorporation of comments, and coordination within team.
• Co-ordination with inter-disciplines.
• Technical issues resolving

Requirements:

Areas of experience:

• Proficient in using STAAD Pro.
• Able to use MAT3D, RCDC for RCC design.
• Must have understanding about Process structures, pipe racks, cable racks, field supports , RCC buildings, Platforms, Equipment Supporting.
• Must be able to design sub-structures such as isolated footings, rafts, pile foundations, tanks & pits, Static equipment foundations, dynamic foundations etc.
• Must be able to use connection design tools such as Idea Statica, Ram connection etc.
• Must have hands-on skills of Tekla, Navisworks for reviewing & resolution.
• Capable of understanding Design basis, Standards & other related documents.
• Capable of handling design activities independently.
• Knowledge about international standards American/British/European

In-Depth Knowledge:

• An in-depth understanding of basic & detail engineering.
• Must have know-how of technical problem solving.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

B. Tech or MTech in Civil Engineering with 9 to 12 years of Strong experience and understanding of plant engineering concepts, processes, and technologies.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite .
